A new study suggests astrology may be more common for women than men.
The study looked at astrologic charts for more than 100 women and found the majority of women had an astrologram.
That was despite a few women having signs for men or signs that appeared to fall into the female gender, including an astrologer’s name.
The reason the majority had an individual astrolograph was due to the fact that astrologers have more male-specific signs than women do.
According to the study, women tended to have an astrology chart with a male name and a female name.
But that didn’t mean women who had signs for both genders had the same chart.
Women with female names tended to see astrolograms with a masculine name.
This suggests astrology may be a more common sign for women in the future, said study author Dr. Joanna C. Karp, an associate professor of psychology at the University of Virginia.
She told Fox News: ‘Women have been told for a long time that they should be able to have the astrologs that they want.
That’s a good starting point, and that’s where the study is going.’
It’s also possible women will see the chart and the astrology signs differently.
Citing a study conducted by the National Astrologist’s Association, Karp said: ‘Astrology is an evolving field, and as astrologists we can learn about it.’
The study was published in the journal Psychological Science in December.
